Texas Health Alliance Appoints Director of Human Resources|
FORT WORTH, Texas — Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Alliance administrators have appointed Janette Angus as the new director of human resources. Angus brings more than 20 years of diverse human resources leadership experience to the position, including a background in the health care, assisted living, wine and high-tech/medical device industries.
In her new role, Angus will be responsible for onboarding all staff members for Texas Health Alliance, a new full-service hospital scheduled to open in September in North Fort Worth. Angus focuses on developing talent and bringing organizational purpose to team members for successful outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Most recently, Angus served as the human resources manager for Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation and Sutter Medical Group of the Redwoods in Santa Rosa, Calif. from 2010 to 2011. While there, she designed and delivered the leadership program for the management team using the Relationship Awareness Theory by Dr. Elias Porter and the Motivational Value System.
Prior to her role with Sutter Pacific, Angus was the principal human resources business partner for Medtronic Cardiovascular from 2006 to 2009. She also served as human resources manager for Kendall-Jackson Wine Estates, one of the largest privately held employers in Northern California, from 2000 to 2006.
Angus earned a bachelor's degree in information and communication studies with a minor in business management from California State University, Chico.
