Heartsaver AED

The Heartsaver AED course targets all lay rescuers who are expected to respond to emergencies in the workplace such as lifeguards, personal trainers, and daycare workers. The course teaches rescuers skills in CPR, AED, and choking for adults, children, and infants. A certification card is presented upon completion of the course. The certification is good for two years from the American Heart Association. If you do not require a certification you may prefer to complete a Family & Friends CPR course. If a certification is required and you will be working in a hospital setting then you need to take the BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR. The manual is included in the price of this course and will be available at the class time. If you'd prefer to have your manual prior to the class you may call 214-345-4687 and arrange a day and time pick up your book from the CVC. REFUND To receive a partial refund you must cancel your class two weeks prior to the start of the class. Refunds will not be permitted after 120 days of class registration. A processing fee is charged on all refunds. To reschedule your class you must call two weeks prior to the start of the class to avoid a rescheduling fee.
