Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid

This is a 2 1/2 hour class. This course is designed to train those responsible for children's health in meeting state-specific requirements. Backed by comprehensive research, it meets the regulatory and credentialed training requirements for child-care workers in Texas. This course is intended for: *child-care and foster-care workers *teachers, recreation *other community program staff, camp counselors, sports coaches and trainers, new parents, guardians, and other caretakers The course covers: *Pediatric first aid *asthma care training for child-care providers *eye injuries *fever *suspected abuse *snake, spider, scorpion, tick, and marine animal bites and stings. The classes will be held in the Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth Community Education Center located at 6270 John Ryan Drive Fort Worth, Texas, 76132. REFUND To receive a partial refund you must cancel your class two weeks prior to the start of the class. Refunds will not be permitted after 120 days of class registration. To reschedule your class, you must call two weeks prior to the start of the class to avoid a rescheduling fee.
