Roadmap to Recovery

Texas Health Southwest offers a class designed to assist you with your recovery from back surgery, total hip or knee replacement called Ortho and Joint Camp.

The class provides information on the following topics:

• Pre-operative services
• Walking with an assistive device or back brace
• Home safety
• Adaptive equipment
• Discharge planning
• Nursing care

Classes are held from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Monday of each month in the Community Education Building, located just behind the hospital. Parking is free in the parking lot in front of the Education Building.
