Prepared Childbirth

This is a one day class. This class will teach you what to expect in your birthing experience. Instruction includes the stages of labor, Lamaze breathing, relaxation techniques and hospital procedures. A brief discussion about hospital procedures and Cesarean births will be addressed. A tour of the Center for Women and Children is included. We suggest taking this class during your third trimester. We highly recommend that you finish all of your childbirth classes at least three to four weeks prior to your due date. REFUND To receive a refund you must cancel your class two weeks prior to the start of the class. Refunds will not be permitted after 120 days of class registration. To reschedule your class you must call two weeks prior to the start of the class to avoid a rescheduling fee. BAD WEATHER In the event of inclement weather, we will follow Arlington ISD protocol for cancellations and/or closings. If you enroll in a Childbirth Preparation or Childbirth Refresher class you may enroll for other birthing classes at a discounted rate. Please call 1-877-THR-WELL (877-847-9355) for more information. If you register online and pay full price for the other classes no adjustments will be made.
