Safe Sitter
This is a one-day class.
The Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth Safe Sitter class is designed to help boys and girls 11-13 years old to become more confident and self-reliant while caring for younger children. A series of lectures demonstration and hands-on experience will be used. Skills learned will include how to market their skills, negotiate wages, simple first aid, care of a choking infant, and rescue breathing for infants and children based on the American Heart Association guidelines.
Please be sure to bring the completed Registration Form with you to class. Do not mail this to the call center with your payment. Parents must bring student to the classroom and pick them up at the door. Please bring a sack lunch and a drink with you to class.
Graduation ceremony from 4:10 p.m. until 4:30 p.m., parental attendance requested. The classes will be held in the Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth Community Education Center located at 6270 John Ryan Drive Fort Worth, TX 76132.
REFUND
To receive a refund you must cancel your class two weeks prior to the start of the class. Refunds will not be permitted after 120 days of class registration. To reschedule your class you must call two weeks prior to the start of the class to avoid a rescheduling fee.
