Texas Health Stephenville Development Council

Established in September 2006, the Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Stephenville Development Council is a volunteer group of 18 goodwill ambassadors. Members include community and business leaders, employees, and medical staff members who serve as a working link between the hospital and the community. The Texas Health Stephenville Development Council conducts programs that communicate, cultivate, solicit, and recognize specific health care needs of the community.

Through the years, almost constant changes have occurred in the delivery of healthcare services as well as in the funding of these services. Some of the changes have included rapid advances in new technology, the creation of needed services, and changing levels of state and federal reimbursement. Therefore, the council was formed to assist Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Stephenville in providing strong support so that the tradition of caring can continue.

We are honored that John Moore serves as chairman. At each meeting, there are opportunities to learn about the services available at our hospital. Most importantly, members learn about exciting plans for the hospital's future and meet key physicians and staff who strive to make the hospital the best it can be for the community. Texas Health Stephenville Development Council members serve a two-year term, and each member attends quarterly meetings each year.
