Disease or Condition   Orthopedics / Fracture Repair
Title   Functional Outcomes Following Type II and III Open Calcaneus Fracture Managed with Open Reduction and Internal Fixation using the Medial Open Fracture Wound (Orthopedics / Fracture Repair)
Description   The purpose of this study is to provide information for doctors who treat patients who have broken heel with an open wound. This study will evaluate how well patients heal and are able to perform normal activities. quality of life after being treated surgically.

Inclusion/Notes   INCLUSION:
  • Must have been treated with surgery between 6/1/2002 to 3/1/09 timeframe and age 18-99 years, Open treatment of Calcaneal fracture includes internal fixation, when performed and 28420-Open treatment of Calcaneal fracture, includes internal fixation with primary iliac or other autogenous bone graft (includes obtaining graft). All others will be excluded.

EXCLUSION:
