Updated Results for Patients Who Had Surgery for a Pelvic Injury (Orthopedics / Fracture Repair)
The purpose of this study is to collect long term data and outcomes on subjects who have sustained pelvic trauma due to horseback riding “Saddlehorn” injury. Subjects must be at least 12 months out from their pelvic injury.
Subject to sign the informed consent form prior to any study procedures being performed,
Be between the ages of 18 and 99 years who experienced a pelvis fracture sustained after a “Saddlehorn” injury that is at least 12 months from surgical repair.
Required treatment with CPT code 27217 – Open treatment of anterior ring fracture and/or dislocation with internal fixation (includes pubic symphysis and/or rami, seen by PI from 6/1/02 to 12/31/09.
Subject that refuses to sign the informed consent.
Less than 18 years old or greater than 99 years old.
Subjects that do not require treatment with CPT code 27217- Open treatment of anterior ring fracture and/or dislocation with internal fixation (includes pubic symphysis and/or rami), seen by PI from 6/1/02 to 12/31/09.
