Inclusion/Notes   INCLUSION:
  • Age 18 years old or greater.

  • Must have a tibia fracture (with or without a fibula fracture) that was treated surgically with an intramedullary nail that was considered a delayed or a non-union.

  • Subjects must have had a dynamization, nail exchange, bone grafting for follow up treatment.

  • Must have required treatment within 1/1/2002 to 6/1/2012.

EXCLUSION:
  • Less than Age 18 years old.

  • Subject did not have a tibia fracture (with or without a fibula fracture) that was not treated surgically with an intramedullary nail and/or was not considered a delayed or a non-union.

  • If subjects did not have a dynamization, nail exchange, or bone grafting for follow up treatment.

  • If subject did not have required treatment within 1/1/2002 to 6/1/2012.

  • Patients with pathologic fractures, intervention performed prior to an established delayed or nonunion, autodynamization, and incomplete follow up will be excluded from the final analysis.
