A Retrospective Review of Joystick Aided Reduction of Femoral Shaft fractures During Intramedullary Nailing (Orthopedics / Fracture Repair)
The purpose of this study is to evaluate a large series of femoral shaft fractures that were joystick aided reduction during intramedullary nailing to determine the effect of joystick reduction on quality of reduction, complications, and rates of union.
Be between the ages of 18 and 99 years who experienced a femoral shaft fracture.
Required treatment with PI from 6/1/04 to 9/30/10.
Less than 18 years old or greater than 99 years old.
