Protrusio Fractures of the Acetabulum in Patients 70 Years and Older (Orthopedics / Fracture Repair)
The purpose of this retrospective study is to evaluate the treatment of protrusio type fractures of the acetabulum in a senior patient population (=70 years of age). We propose that the decreased physical demands of this population coupled with a modified surgical tactic will result in successful outcomes for this group of patients.
Must have been treated between 8/1/99 to 10/31/09 timeframe and age >70 years old who experienced a protrusio fracture of the acetabulum.
