Breast tomosynthesis imaging in women with moderate risk for breast cancer, including ALH, ADH, and LCIS. (Radiology)
The objective of this study is to compare mammogram results to tomosynthesis results to determine which method is better at identifying new breast cancers in women with moderate risk for breast cancer.
Patients must sign an informed consent prior to any study-related procedures.
Patients must be moderate risk for breast cancer, defined by one or more of the following categories: Pathological diagnosis of LCIS, ADH, or ALH.
Pregnant or breast-feeding.
Inability to provide fully informed consent.
Inability to have study procedures (unable to stand, developmental or congenital abnormalities limiting ability to participate).
