Objectives:

Upon completion of this activity, the participants should be able to

  • Increase skill development with disaster preparedness through instruction of National Library of Medicine databases that aid in disaster preparedness

  • Utilize databases for disaster preparedness, decision making, situational awareness, informed response, and recovery efforts

  • Identify information retrieval methods in accessing disaster health information

Target Audience: Texas Health hospitals physicians, nurses, educators, and healthcare providers
