At Texas Health, our cardiovascular services team cares for more hearts than any other health care system in North Texas.
Whether you deal with a heart or vascular problem, or just want to be proactive in your heart health, we’re here to be a source of encouragement and a resource for useful information.
Cardiovascular disease (heart disease) is the No. 1 killer in the United States and a major cause of disability. Knowing your risks for heart and vascular disease is the first step in your heart health journey.
Start with our 10-minute heart risk assessment, where you'll get a:
- Determination of your relative heart age
- Percentage indicator of your 10- and 30-year risk for cardiovascular disease
- Printable assessment of your cardiovascular disease risk factors — those you can modify with diet and exercise, and others related to your gender, age and family history
If your results indicate a moderate, increased or unknown risk for developing heart disease, you may want to consider visiting one of our Heart Health Centers, where an advanced practice nurse can conduct a Heart Health Screening and tailor a care plan just for you.
