Texas Health Resources received a 2013 Texas Award for Performance Excellence (TAPE) from Quality Texas Foundation. The health system is one of two organizations to receive the award for 2013, and the only health care entity selected. Texas Health is also the largest health system to be recognized in the award’s 20-year history.
- Texas Health Resources was named one of America’s Top 150 Workplaces by WorkplaceDynamics. Texas Health ranked No. 38 nationwide among 872 organizations with more than 1,000 employees that participated in regional top workplaces programs.
- Texas Health Resources received the 2013 Richard A. Norling Premier Alliance Excellence Award for its leadership in accelerating care quality and cost improvements among the nation’s largest collaborative network of health systems. Texas Health is the sole winner among more than 2,700 of the nation’s leading hospitals that are members of the Premier health care alliance.

- Texas Health Resources was named one of the “2012 Best Employers for Healthy Lifestyles” by the National Business Group on Health. Texas Health earned Gold distinction for its commitment to promoting a healthy workplace and encouraging employees and their families to maintain healthy lifestyles through its “Be Healthy” employee wellness program. The “Best Employers for Healthy Lifestyles” awards annually acknowledge employers that have responded to the urgent need to improve their employees’ health, productivity and quality of life.
- Texas Health Resources was recognized by Hospital & Health Networks magazine with a 2012 Most Wired Innovator Award. Texas Health received the award, one of six presented nationally, for using technology to help prevent catheter-associated urinary tract infection. Texas Health was also recognized with Hospital & Health Networks’ Most Wired designation for excellence in the adoption, implementation and use of information technology (IT).
- Four Texas Health Resources hospitals were named among the “most connected” in the United States by U.S. News and World Report. Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital, Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth, Texas Health Presbyterian Hosptial Plano and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas were the only adult-care hospitals in North Texas on the "Most Connected Hospitals" list.
- U.S. News & World Report designated four Texas Health Resources hospitals among the best in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in its Best Hospitals metro-area rankings. Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas was listed as high-performing in gastroenterology, geriatrics, gynecology, neurology and neurosurgery, orthopedics, and urology. Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth was listed as high-performing in gastroenterology, geriatrics, nephrology, orthopedics, pulmonology, and urology. Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano was listed as high-performing in gastroenterology, geriatrics, nephrology, and orthopedics, and Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital was listed as high-performing in geriatrics and neurology and neurosurgery.
- Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Azle was the only hospital in the nation to receive the QUEST Award for High-value Healthcare from Premier healthcare alliance for consistently providing outstanding patient care and setting a high standard in clinical excellence.
 Texas Health hospitals participate in the Partnership for Patients: Better Care, Lower Costs, a public-private partnership intended to help improve the quality, safety, and affordability of health care for all Americans. The Partnership for Patients brings together leaders of major hospitals, employers, physicians, nurses, and patient advocates along with state and federal governments in a shared effort to make hospital care safer, more reliable, and less costly. - Texas Health Resources was selected for the fourth consecutive year by Computerworld magazine as one of the top 100 workplaces for information technology (IT) professionals. Texas Health placed No. 19 on the list, up from 34 in 2010. The honor was part of the weekly IT publication's 18th annual "Best Places to Work in IT" survey, which was published in the June 20 issue of Computerworld and online.
- Six Texas Health Resources hospitals were among 93 nationwide recognized for their achievement in the QUEST: High Performing Hospitals collaborative.  Texas Health Resources was selected for the third straight year by ComputerWorld magazine as one of the top workplaces for information technology (IT) professionals. Texas Health placed No. 34 on the 2010 list, up from 48 last year. The honor was part of the weekly IT publication's 17th annual Best Places to Work in IT survey, which was published in the magazine's June 21 issue and online at Computerworld.com. Since 1994, ComputerWorld's annual "Best Places to Work in IT" feature has ranked the top 100 work environments for technology professionals, based on a comprehensive questionnaire regarding company offerings in categories such as benefits, diversity, career development, training and retention. Texas Health was one of only eight health systems or hospitals recognized.

Texas Health Resources received the 2010 Best Employers for Healthy Lifestyles award. The award was presented to 66 employers at the Leadership Summit sponsored by the National Business Group on Health's Institute on Innovation in Workforce Well-being for commitment and dedication to promoting a healthy workplace and encouraging their workers and families to support and maintain healthy lifestyles. Texas Health received a silver award for its Total Health program, which provides awareness, education and intervention opportunities so members can make informed lifestyle decisions. Of those who are eligible for benefits, 90 percent have completed a health assessment. This data is used to continually improve health and wellness program components and measure progress.

Texas Health Resources Video Communications was a multiple winner in the 16th annual Communicator Awards Video Excellence Competition. Video Communications received Gold Awards of Excellence for two projects and Silver Awards of Distinction two projects. More 7,000 entries were received.  The Communicator Awards were judged and overseen by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA), an organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media.

Texas Health Resources was recognized by CIO magazine as a 2010 CIO 100 recipient for its innovative initiative to develop and implement an electronic health record (EHR) across its 13-hospital system. The award program recognizes 100 organizations around the world and across all industry sectors that exemplify the highest level of operational and strategic excellence in information technology. Texas Health is one of only five health systems or hospitals recognized.
- The Center for Learning & Career Development at Texas Health Resources was recognized at the 11th Annual Corporate University Xchange Awards for Excellence with the Exemplary Practice Award for Learning and Academic Partnerships and Excellence Award for corporate learning strategy and advancement. The awards salute corporate and government learning organizations that create exciting, impactful programs that result in measurable improvements in employee and business performance. Presenters acknowledged the center its detailed processes and approach to alignment of the system's strategic vision. Texas Health was the only health system recognized.

 Texas Health Resources won national honors with presentation of the prestigious 10th annual eHealthcare Leadership Awards, sponsored by Strategic Healthcare Communications. The competition drew more than 1,000 entries from a wide range of healthcare organizations competing in 17 classifications and 12 different award categories. Judges in the Healthcare System division honored TexasHealth.org with a Silver Award in the categories of Best Overall Internet Site and Best Health/Healthcare Content. The presentations took place at the 13th annual Healthcare Internet Conference in Las Vegas.
- Texas Health Resources received the Best Employers for Healthy Lifestyles award from the National Business Group on Health. The award recognizes the nation's leading corporations for innovative programs that promote a healthy workplace and for helping employees and their families make better choices about their health and well-being. Texas Health was among 63 employers nationally to receive the award this year. It was presented June 24 in Washington D.C., during the Joint Summit of the Institutes on Health Care Costs and Solutions & the Costs and Health Effects of Obesity.
- Texas Health Resources received two awards for its website, TexasHealth.org, in the 12th annual eHealthcare Leadership Awards, presented by eHealthcare Strategy & Trends. Texas Health was awarded a Gold Award for "Best Newsroom" and the Distinction Award for "Best eBusiness Site."
- Texas Helth Presbyterian Hospital Plano received the 2008 Texas Award for Performance Excellence (T.A.P.E.), the state's highest honor for quality and organizational performance. Texas Health Plano was the first health care facility in Collin County to receive the prestigious honor and the fourth in Texas.
- Twenty-six registered nurses across Texas Health's 13-hospital system were designated as "Great 100 Nurses." The list of "Great 100 Nurses" is selected by the Texas Nurses' Association.
- Texas Health Plano joined the ranks of famed dining establishments as a recipient of the restaurant industry's prestigious Ivy Award, a coveted accolade bestowed annually by Restaurants and Institutions magazine to a select group of restaurants, hotels and noncommercial food operators that exemplify the highest standards of excellence in food and service.
- The Texas Dietetic Association named Amy Goodson, a registered dietitian at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth, as a Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year. The award is bestowed each year to five dietitians under the age of 35 who are making significant contributions to the field of nutrition and dietetics.
- Texas Health Plano was named a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence, one of the highest distinctions for U.S. weight-loss surgery programs, by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
- The Mabee Rehabilitation Center at Texas Health Fort Worth received accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Services (CARF) for its inpatient and outpatient stroke rehabilitation specialty services.
- Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth received the Five-Star Hospital Award from the Bureau of Vital Statistics at the Texas Department of State Health Services for the sixth time. The award recognizes hospitals and birthing centers for excellence in registering birth certificates with the state.
- A textbook edited by Dr. Mark Feldman, chair of the department of internal medicine at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas and director of the hospital's internal medicine residency program, was named the world's top gastroenterology book by the British Medical Association.
