List of Sponsors for Black Tie Ball Continues to Grow|
KAUFMAN, Texas — The planning committee for this year’s Black Tie Ball benefitting Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Kaufman recently held a pre-gala party to thank sponsors of the Nov. 13 event.
“It’s important that we stop to say ‘thank you’ to the local businesses and community leaders who have generously donated to our event, which will help improve the lives of people in the Kaufman area,” said Carl Stapp, chair of the planning committee and member of the Texas Health Kaufman Board of Trustees.
ABOX Paperboard Company is the platinum level sponsor for this year’s gala. Gold level sponsors are Thomas Protective Service, Inc., Trinity Valley Community College, and Your Health Team. The 2010 Black Tie Ball will be held at the Adolphus Hotel in Dallas. Last year, more than 300 people attended, helping raise funds for women’s and children’s services at Texas Health Kaufman. The 2010 gala will help provide prenatal care to low-income, uninsured women in the Kaufman area. The goal is to help these women have healthy pregnancies and spot complications before they cause serious problems for their babies.
“Our annual Black Tie Ball is a great party for a great cause, thanks to the generosity of these businesses and community leaders,” said Patsy Youngs, president of Texas Health Kaufman. “We can’t thank them enough.”
This year’s event will include a seated dinner, diamond raffle, live auction and dancing. Sponsorships begin at $500, with 100 percent of net proceeds funding the prenatal clinic. Individual reservations are $150.
Silver sponsors include Brashear Family Medical P.A., Randy L. and Dianna L. Burgess, Jon and Kathy Burt and ReMax Homeland Realty; City of Kaufman, Dr. and Mrs. William J. Fortner, James B. Park, MD, FACC and Charles B. Levine, MD, FACC, Kaufman Economic Development Corporation, Northstar Anesthesia, P.A., Texas Health Resources, Vanguard Resources Inc., William R.
