U.S. News & World Report Names Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano Among 'Best in Dallas-Fort Worth'|
PLANO, Texas — U.S. News & World Report has designated Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano among the top hospitals in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in their new Best Hospitals metro-area rankings, published online.
“Being named to the ‘Best Hospitals’ is not only a tremendous honor, but a reflection of the quality care we deliver,” said Dr. Jeffrey Canose, president of Texas Health Plano. “Our hard working physicians, nurses and hospital leadership all deserve credit for helping us achieve this distinction.”
Texas Health Plano was recognized as high performing in orthopedics and gastroenterology. The hospital also scored high in patient safety. From the state-of-the-art SpineAssist spinal surgery robot to a comprehensive joint replacement recovery and rehabilitation program, Texas Health Plano has positioned itself as an orthopedic destination in North Texas.
“The hospital’s commitment to providing quality patient care and outstanding surgical facilities are two major reasons why Texas Health Plano is now considered an orthopedic leader in the Metroplex,” said Dr. Roger Emerson, medical director of orthopedics at Texas Health Plano.
Texas Health Plano is also a leading center for the prevention, screening, diagnosis and care of digestive conditions. Gastroenterologists on the medical staff perform clinical and technologically advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for a wide-array of digestive disorders.
“We are proud to be counted among the best of the best in Dallas-Fort Worth when it comes to treating digestive disorders,” said Dr. David Park, a gastroenterologist on the medical staff at Texas Health Plano.
