Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Allen Recognized in National Performance Project|
ALLEN, Texas — Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Allen received a Supply Chain Excellence award from Premier during the national Premier’s Annual Breakthroughs Conference and Exhibition in Nashville, Tenn. The awards were created to recognize those members that are performing at the highest levels within their supply chain, as benchmarked against their peers, and celebrate the innovative ideas that members have implemented to improve supply chain performance.
Performance for each peer group was measured on the following four supply expense ratios to identify the top two performers in each peer group:
- Supply expense per net patient revenue
- Supply expense per total operating expense
- Supply expense per adjusted patient day
- Supply expense per adjusted discharge
“As stewards of community resources, we are careful with how we spend our money while at the same time working toward improving the health of the people in the communities we serve,” said Sheila McKinney, president of Texas Health Allen. “This award is one recognition of the hard work and detail management by our finance and materials management teams.”
