AZLE, Texas — Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Azle today announced that Bob Ellzey, FACHE, has been chosen as its new president. Ellzey will begin on Sept. 6. Outgoing president Winjie Tang Miao will assist in the transition as she takes on her post full time as president of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Alliance.
“We are excited to welcome Bob to the Texas Health family,” said Douglas D. Before that he was with Laird Memorial Hospital, a 60-bed hospital operated by Community Hospital Corporation in Kilgore, Texas.
“Being asked to serve the community of Azle and surrounding area as the president of Texas Health Azle is a real privilege,” said Ellzey. “My wife Susan and I look forward to living in Azle and becoming involved in a local church and civic organizations.”
