Employees at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano Donate 551 Pairs of Jeans to Joseph’s Coat Closet|
PLANO, Texas — The temperatures may keep rising, but Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano employees reached into their hearts, wallets and closets for a jeans collection drive for Joseph’s Coat Closet.
Texas Health Plano employees donated 551 pairs of jeans for children ages kindergarten through high school.
The Plano-based ministry of St. Andrew United Methodist Church set a goal to collect back to school necessities such as jeans, shoes, coats, a backpack and school supplies for 600 area children.
“We are proud of the response from Texas Health Plano employees to help area children get back to school with what they need,” said Danelle Parker, manager of community health for Texas Health Plano. “For many families in our community it’s a struggle to provide basic items for their children to go back to school. Our employees are always up for the challenge of helping support our community through philanthropic endeavors.”
