"Our hospital is pleased to welcome Raymond Kelly," said Jeffrey Canose, MD, president of Texas Health Plano. "In Mr. Kelly we have found someone who shares our commitment to consistently achieving clinical excellence and providing a superior patient experience to every member of the community that we are privileged to serve.”

In his role as chief nursing officer, Kelly will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and strategic planning for the Nursing Department at Texas Health Plano along with Pharmacy, Food and Nutrition Services, Trauma Services, Respiratory Care, and Neurodiagnostics and Nursing Research.

“With his past experience serving as the co-chair of the Baptist Hospital Patient Family Centered Caring Committee, we expect Mr. Kelly will fit right in to our culture and will be able to initiate positive change throughout our organization,” said Joan Clark, DNP, RN, senior vice president/chief nursing executive at Texas Health Resources.

Kelly became a registered nurse through his studies at Glantawe School of Nursing in Swansea, UK. He obtained his diploma in Business and Management Studies at Ealing College in London, UK, and his Master of Science in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Fla.

Kelly enjoys traveling and experiencing other cultures; keeping fit; reading; and watching documentary programs. “We feel confident his skills and talents – combined with the talented team of clinicians and administrators across our system – will help achieve success as we carry out our mission to improve the health of the people in the communities we serve,” said Canose.
