Deborah Bostic Named Vice President/Chief Nursing Officer at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton|
DENTON, Texas — Deborah Bostic, R.N., M.S.N., has been named vice president/chief nursing officer at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton. She joined Texas Health Resources after serving 10 years in various nursing and operations executive roles at Sacred Heart Health System in Pensacola, Fla. Her first day was Oct. 31, 2011.
“After a thorough search, our administrative team wholeheartedly believes we have found exactly the right person for the job," said Stan Morton, president at Texas Health Denton. “We are confident she will successfully support our mission to improve the health of the people in the communities we serve.”
As vice president/chief nursing officer, Bostic will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and strategic planning for the nursing department.
“During her expansive and well-rounded nursing career, Debbie has not only provided hands-on patient care and demonstrated strong leadership through her executive roles, but also championed service excellence through her consulting position with Studer Group,” said Joan Clark, D.N.P., R.N., senior vice president/chief nursing executive at Texas Health Resources.
Bostic is a graduate of the University of South Alabama, where she received bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing. She is currently pursuing a master's in business adminstration through American Sentinel University.
