Two Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano Radiologic Technologists Named to Top 25 List in North Texas|
PLANO, Texas — Two of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano’s radiologic technologists have been recognized by the North Texas Radiologic Technologist Society. Tim Hubbard and Denise Mook were named to the group's top 25 list.
“Tim and Denise both contribute their skills to our patients each day,” said Dr. Jeffrey Canose, FACHE, hospital president. “They are dedicated to our mission of improving the health of the people in the communities we serve with each interaction. We are proud of them for achieving this honor.”
Hubbard has worked as MRI team lead at Texas Health Plano for the past two years. In addition to being recognized by his patients for his care, Hubbard is quick to help in other areas of the department when needed. He also is a decorated Navy veteran. In his spare time he volunteers for Habitat for Humanity and Gateway Community Church in Wylie.
“It’s a big honor and I feel overwhelmed,” said Hubbard, a resident of Wylie. “It means a lot to be recognized.”
Mook has worked in the Texas Health Plano operating room for the past eight years. Her colleagues say she is skilled at coordinating procedures in various rooms and communicating with others on the surgical team. She also actively works with others in her department to devise better ways of working to benefit patients. In her spare time she volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and fundraising for the MS 150.
“I am honored to be recognized for what I do,” said Mook, a Wylie resident. “I love everything about my job. I enjoy making sure that patients are cared for in a safe manner and taking care of my equipment. I just take pride in what I do.”
Texas Health Plano offers a wide range of diagnostic imaging services. “Tim and Denise join a number of their colleagues in being recognized for this prestigious honor,” said Michael Putman, R.T., ARRT, C.R.A., director of radiology and medical imaging for Texas Health Plano. “Our radiology employees strive each day to provide our patients with quality and compassionate care and Tim and Denise are a great example of how we do that.”
