Two Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Allen Radiologic Technologists Named to Top 25 List|
ALLEN, Texas — Two of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Allen’s radiologic technologists have been recognized by the North Texas Radiologic Technologist Society. Shelli Boge and Nancy Fisette were named to the top 25 list by the society.
Boge, ARRT, R.T.R., has worked at Texas Health Allen for five years. She said she was honored that her colleagues selected her for this honor.
“I really like working in diagnostic imaging because you know the outcome you want and you try to figure out what you can do to achieve that outcome,” said Boge, who lives in Carrollton. “Also, it makes it easy to come to work when you like what you are doing.”
Fisette, ARRT (R) (CT), T.R.T., has worked at the hospital for nearly nine years. Fisette works the night shift and said she was surprised by the recognition.
“I have many aspects of my job that are I love, but to narrow it down I’d have to say that my favorites are the coworkers I encounter in the various departments and my patients,” said Fisette, who lives in Allen. “They all make coming to work for 12 hours at a time very gratifying.”
Texas Health Allen offers a wide range of diagnostic imaging services. In addition to X-ray, MRI and CT scans, the hospital offers scans that can determine problems in your joints, urinary tract, gastrointestinal system, spine, breast and bowels. The hospital also offers nuclear medicine technology.
“Shelli and Nancy are an integral part of the team at Texas Health Allen,” said Sheila McKinney, hospital president. “Our radiology employees strive each day to provide our patients with high quality and compassionate care and Shelli and Nancy are a great example of how we do that.”
