Imaging Services Director Named at Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital

ARLINGTON, Texas — Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital recently named Dung Pham, R.T., M.H.A., as its new imaging services director. In his new role, Pham will analyze processes and recommend operational improvement opportunities around quality, safety and satisfaction in each area of the radiology department.

Prior to his current position, Pham served as the hospital’s interim director of imaging services. Since 2002, Pham has been a part of the Texas Health Arlington Memorial family, serving first as a radiology team leader. Five years later, he was promoted to radiology manager.

Always keeping the needs of the patient top of mind, one of Pham’s goals is to enhance the delivery of health care for those seeking imaging services.

“I plan to improve upon our current processes by making our services more accessible to our customers,” Pham said. “By maintaining stringent safety and quality standards, we will strive to meet, if not surpass the expectations of our patients.”

Pham, who is bilingual, goes the extra mile to meet the needs of patients and hospital visitors alike.

“I speak fluent English and Vietnamese, and I am blessed to be able to use my communication skills to interpret clinical terms or to simply make patients and their family members feel comfortable before an exam or procedure,” he said.

Pham is a Knights of Columbus member and serves on the Tarrant County College advisory board.

“I’m a staunch advocate of life-long learning,” Pham said. “Four years ago, I started serving on the advisory board so I could help create a more comprehensive radiology program that included continued education and advanced certification opportunities for radiology technologists.”

Pham received an associate’s degree in radiology and bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. He later earned a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Pham and his wife, Donna, have two boys with another on the way.
