Black & White Gala Raises Funds for Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Cleburne|
FORT WORTH, Texas — More than 550 guests attended the 20th annual Black & White Gala on Aug. 4 at the Omni Fort Worth Hotel. The Friends of Texas Health Cleburne Black & White Gala Committee hosted the event, which included dinner, dancing and auctions.
The gala raised more than $160,000 for Texas Health Cleburne’s health outreach programs in Johnson County. This year’s proceeds also will be used to purchase a SimMan® 3G, a training manikin.
Since 1993, the Black & White Gala Committee has raised more than $2.5 million to fund Shots for Tots, Mammograms Are A Must! and Know Your PSA. The 2012 event chair was MC Davis and vice chair was Debbie Reynolds.
