Texas Health Harris Methodist Foundation Golf Tournament in Full Swing

FORT WORTH, Texas — Texas Health Harris Methodist Foundation will host its 21st Annual Golf Tournament on Oct. 8 at Timarron Country Club in Southlake. The golf tournament benefits the Bernard C. Alger Cancer Fund at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth, which supports cancer education, support programs and screenings.

Sponsorship levels for the event range from $2,500 to $7,500 per team or $500 per individual player arranged in a four-person scramble format. Players will contend for cash prizes for the top three finishing teams and one $50,000 shoot-out prize for a hole-in-one.

Registration begins at 10 a.m. with a welcome luncheon starting at 11 a.m. A shotgun start will commence at noon. At the conclusion of the event, the Foundation will host a dinner buffet and awards ceremony. Each participant will receive a premium gift bag, complementary beverages and an invitation to the welcome lunch and awards dinner.

Texas Health Resources’ Mobile Health Unit will provide free onsite cancer screenings from 10 a.m. to noon at Timarron Country Club.
