Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Allen Names New President|
ALLEN, Texas — Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Allen has named Jeff Reecer as its president.
Reecer previously served as vice president of operations at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton. He spent 11 years at Texas Health Denton and was instrumental in integrating the hospital in the Texas Health Resources family in 2009.
“Jeff has been an important part of bringing Texas Health Denton into the Texas Health family and we are proud that he has taken this leadership role at our Allen hospital,” said Steve Hanson, FACHE, executive vice president and North Zone operations leader for Texas Health Resources. “Jeff hit the ground running by developing relationships with key physicians when he became interim president at Texas Health Allen this summer.”
Reecer said he will continue that work developing relationships within the hospital and also in the community.
“There is tremendous potential here at Texas Health Allen,” he said. “The future is very bright.”
The Allen hospital is a 73-bed full service facility. Services at the hospital include surgery, emergency room services, women’s services, a Level II neonatal intensive care unit, orthopedics, pediatrics, diagnostic imaging, rehabilitation, and wound care. This year the hospital added a daVinci® surgical robot to expand its minimally invasive surgical options which already include the Makoplasty surgical system for joint replacement.
Reecer brings extensive experience working with several health systems in West Texas, including Covenant Health System in Lubbock.
A proud Texas Tech University graduate, Reecer enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, running, cycling, volunteering in his community, participating in his church and travelling.
