Children Donate Bears to Patients at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano|
PLANO, Texas — Four Plano youngsters decided to help children receiving medical care at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano by donating teddy bears recently.
When he was a baby, 6-year-old Donovan (second from left) spent time at Texas Health Plano and received a green bear he still carries. When his older siblings, students at Matthews Elementary School, had to do a community service project for school, 7-year-old Derian (far left) and 9-year-old Leonie (third from left) chose to donate bears to make children in the hospital feel better. And 7-year-old Tiffany (far right) also decided to help.
They donated the bears to Michele Charless, director of Women and Children Services at Texas Health Plano, Shanna Tucker, a registered nurse on the pediatrics floor, and Carol Bult, manager of pediatrics.
