Texas Health Resources Named to National Top 150 Workplaces

The National Top Workplaces list was determined by feedback gathered through an objective employee survey. The survey was conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, a national employee survey provider, in conjunction with 30 leading regional newspapers. In November, Texas Health ranked No. 9 among large companies in the Dallas-Fort Worth area on The Dallas Morning News’ list of the Top 100 Places to Work.

“We’re honored that this prestigious national ranking is based on the input of our employees,” said Bonnie Bell, Texas Health’s executive vice president of people and culture. “Texas Health is a great place to work and this award recognizes that the work we are doing to transform the future of health care is meaningful to our employees.”

The survey uses a proprietary set of 22 questions to rank companies. The survey data showed that employees most want to work at companies with high levels of what WorkplaceDynamics calls “organizational health.” Companies that set a clear direction for the future, execute well and bring real meaning to work are the healthiest.

Other recent workforce recognitions for Texas Health include being named one of the “2012 Best Employers for Healthy Lifestyles” by the National Business Group on Health and selection for the fourth consecutive year by Computerworld magazine as one of the top 100 workplaces for information technology (IT) professionals.
