New Medical Office Building Opens on Texas Health Arlington Memorial Campus|
ARLINGTON, Texas — A new medical office building is helping meet the health care needs of individuals in Arlington and surrounding communities. The Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital Medical Office Building will house medical providers that offer cardiac services, cancer treatment, orthopedic services and a senior care clinic.
“This uniquely designed medical community is a key component to meeting the healthcare demands of the North Texas area we serve,” said Kirk King, Texas Health Arlington Memorial president. “It was a collaborative effort with physicians on the medical staff to creatively design a patient-centric facility that truly offers ease of access and wayfinding for those we serve.”
Developed, owned and operated by Cambridge Healthcare Properties, the new medical office building is located on the campus of Texas Health Arlington Memorial. To address the needs of the community, the old “900” office building remained open while Cambridge executed the construction project in phases. Last March, construction for the new 56,000-square-foot building began.
“This beautiful new facility reflects our commitment to excellence, and it will allow us to continue to grow orthopedic services and foster geriatric-centered care. An added bonus is the curb-side appeal the building contributes to our campus’ north façade along Randol Mill Road,” King said.
Along with previous services offered at the old facility, the addition of orthopedic and senior care services is helping address the health care needs of North Texas residents. The new facility will house Orthopedic Medicine Specialists, led by Dr. Joseph Borrelli, orthopedic department chair at Texas Health Arlington Memorial; and Arlington Internal Medicine Group, led by medical director Dr. David Lee, an internal medicine physician on the medical staff at Texas Health Arlington Memorial.
Both organizations are affiliated with Texas Health Physicians Group — Texas Health Resources’ 501(a) not-for-profit health corporation that encompasses more than 800 physicians and varied clinicians dedicated to providing safe, quality care for North Texas patients.
Borrelli and his staff offer several orthopedic services that include joint replacement; arthritis and osteoporosis treatment; bone reconstruction; hand surgery; and post-trauma bone reconstruction.
Lee’s office serves the primary care needs of individuals 18 years of age and older by specializing in preventive care; promoting health and wellness; and by providing chronic illness management. By the end of June, Orthopedic Medicine Specialists will be the final office to move into the new two-story building. Other offices include Texas Oncology, HeartPlace and Quest Diagnostics.
