12/16/2013

PLANO, Texas — Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano has been named a 2013 Beacon of Excellence Award winner by Press Ganey Associates, Inc., an independent patient satisfaction company.

The Beacon of Excellence Award is given to 45 hospitals annually that have been leaders for more than three years in three out of these four categories: patient satisfaction, employee engagement, physician engagement or clinical performance.

“We are very proud to have been recognized for this award by Press Ganey, as it represents the hard work of our employees and our consistent commitment to the highest quality standards,” said Dr. Stephen Hadzima, chief medical officer at Texas Health Plano. “I believe this award is a direct result of the evidence-based practices we have in place, staff engagement and effective communication strategies.”
