HMSW Acknowledges Community Service Volunteers|
FORT WORTH, Texas – Full-time workers rarely find time to fit in their day-to-day activities, let alone a twice-a-week commitment to community service. Yet Bill and Linda Bleibdrey find the time to devote two evenings a week to serve as ambassadors and advocates for Harris Methodist Southwest Hospital (HMSW). Because of their dedication the couple received the Helping Hands award from Texas Health Resources president and CEO Doug Hawthorne.

The Helping Hands award is presented to hospital volunteers who show commitment to the highest level of quality and service and who inspire others to live the THR Mission by working to improve the HMSW community.
“It is uncommon to find a hospital board of trustees member and his wife who work full time and find time to serve on the board,” said Stansel Harvey, president of Harris Methodist Southwest Hospital. “Additionally serving the patients and families at HMSW two evenings a week distinguishes the Bleibdreys as true friends of Harris Methodist Southwest.”
Bill serves on the Harris Methodist Southwest Hospital Board of Trustees and is the CFO at Texas Wesleyan University. Linda is a computer analyst with Computer Science Corporation. The Bleibdreys reside in southwest Fort Worth.
