Employees, Physicians Named Healthcare Heroes|
ARLINGTON, Texas — Three hospital employees and nine physicians on the medical staffs of Texas Health Resources hospitals are among the 2003 Healthcare Heroes named by Fort Worth Business Press magazine.
The publication cited 41 Tarrant County health care professionals for their work in health care and community involvement. Readers of the magazine submitted more than 100 nominations.
Sherrill Giddens, community educator at Harris Methodist H•E•B Hospital; Marcy Graves, director of cardiopulmonary neurodiagnostics at Harris Methodist Southwest Hospital; and Agnes McCullough, a general surgery registered nurse at Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital were selected.
Physicians honored include Dr. R. Michael Howell, obstetrics and gynecology, on the medical staff at Harris Methodist Southwest; Dr. Allan R. Kelly, an internal medicine specialist; Dr. Robert H. Kelly, an internal medicine specialist; and Dr. Mary Milam, an oncologist, all on the medical staff at Harris Methodist Fort Worth.
Also recognized are Dr. John Osborne, a cardiologist on the medical staff at Harris Methodist H•E•B Hospital; and physicians on the medical staff at Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital, Dr. John M. Richardson, a pediatrician; Dr. Robin Roberts, a dermatologist; Dr. Tad Stiles, an emergency room physician; and Dr. Bannie Tabor, a perinatologist.
