HMHEB Board of Trustees Announces New Chair and Member
BEDFORD, Texas – Colleyville's Ginny Tigue, vice president of Tigue Property Company, Ltd., will chair the board of trustees at Harris Methodist H•E•B Hospital beginning this month. Southlake's Dorothy Hynson Williams, an independent consultant specializing in career transitioning, joined the board of trustees in January 2007.

“Our board of trustees' involvement and dedication is vital to making our hospital one of the best,” said Kirk King, president of Harris Methodist H•E•B Hospital. “Their insight into the needs of Northeast Tarrant County and their business expertise are an essential ingredient to helping us fulfill our mission to improve the health of the communities we serve. Ginny and Dorothy's leadership experience and community stewardship will be invaluable in allowing us to achieve our vision of being the hospital of choice for Northeast Tarrant county.”

Tigue began her involvement with Harris Methodist H•E•B Hospital in the mid-1980's as a member of the Event Board, which organizes the hospital's annual fundraising gala. In 1992, she became the founding member of the Women's Advisory Board and helped create the first women's retreat, now an annual event. She joined the hospital's board of trustees in 2000. Tigue is also a member of the Texas Health Resources Finance Committee and the Harris Methodist Health Foundation board of trustees.

Williams began her tenure with Harris Methodist H•E•B Hospital on its Event Board, joining in 1998. She is the chair of the new Community Benefit Committee, which oversees all of Harris Methodist H•E•B Hospital's community health and benefit programs. Williams is also a member of the hospital Auxiliary and actively volunteers in the Outpatient Surgery Waiting Room. Williams helps keep track of waiting family members so they can meet with their loved one's doctor after surgery, directs family members to the appropriate visiting area and assists with directions, suggestions and other requests.
