AMH Promotes Chief Financial Officer to Vice President

ARLINGTON, Texas – Joe Tallon, C.P.A., chief financial officer at Arlington Memorial Hospital (AMH), was recently promoted to vice president of finance. Tallon's promotion to officer status reflects the increasing scope and complexity of the chief financial officer role at AMH and its importance on the success of the hospital. Tallon oversees 140 employees and is responsible for accounting, financial planning, patient access services and information services.

Tallon was promoted to chief financial officer in 1998. He'd served as finance director since 1991. Prior to joining AMH, Tallon worked for the regional accounting firm of Pickens, Snodgrass, Koch and Company. Tallon received a bachelor of business administration in accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington and is a certified public accountant.
