HMHEB Hospital Honors Outstanding Member of the Medical Staff|
BEDFORD, Texas – Harris Methodist H•E•B Hospital has honored oral surgeon Dean White, D.D.S., with the 2007 Newton C. Galusha, Jr. Award of Excellence. The award was recently renamed for the late Newton C. Galusha, Jr. M.D., in honor of his countless contributions to patient care and the medical staff.
White was chosen for this distinguished award by the hospital’s immediate past chief of staff, Robert Rowland, M.D. White was honored for his service as medical staff advisor, providing counsel to the hospital’s physician leaders and members. Each year, the award of excellence is given to a member of the medical staff who promotes excellence through extraordinary leadership or clinical practice. Dr. White was named the 2007 recipient at the annual medical staff holiday party held at the Four Seasons Hotel and Resort in December.
