Presbyterian Hospital of Allen Donates $7,500 to Support 2008 Komen North Texas Race for the Cure®|
ALLEN, Texas - Presbyterian Hospital of Allen (PHA) has donated $7,500 to support the 2008 Komen North Texas Race for the Cure®, scheduled for Saturday, June 7, at EDS Global Headquarters in Plano. The donation was made by PHA for the second consecutive year. PHA President Sheila McKinney and Women's Service Director Barbara Quast presented a check to Jennifer Hernandez, board president of the North Texas affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, at the hospital last week.
"Presbyterian Hospital of Allen is proud to continue to provide funds to support the Komen North Texas Race for the Cure," McKinney said. "Our employees and medical staffs share the organization's mission of educating women about early detection, prevention and treatment of breast cancer."
