Exterior Sign Change Marks Beginning of New Name at Presbyterian Hospital of Kaufman
11/24/2008

KAUFMAN, Texas — Presbyterian Hospital of Kaufman is one step closer to becoming Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Kaufman. A new sign on the top of the hospital includes the new logo and name, which will change Jan. 1.

Old sign

Letters from the old sign were removed last week.

The name change reflects a new, unifying brand for Texas Health Resources’ 13 hospitals. The hospital has not been sold and remains a nonprofit facility.

“This is an exciting time for the Kaufman hospital,” said Patsy Youngs, hospital president. “With our close proximity to Dallas, the name change and new logo will help our patients identify that we are part of a larger system with the capability to transfer patients within our system when a higher acuity of care is needed.”
