Texas Health Cleburne Honors Four Employees|
CLEBURNE, Texas — Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Cleburne recently honored four individuals for their exemplary work.
“These individuals are truly the best of the best at supporting their coworkers, caring for patients, and helping patient’s families,” said Cynthia Plonien, R.N., chief nurse executive at Texas Health Cleburne. “At the end of the day, everything we do revolves around providing compassionate care to improve the health of the people in the communities we serve.”
Laurie Ratliff, B.S.N., R.N., who works in Women’s Services, received the Nurse of the Year Award. The award is given to those who demonstrate excellent patient care and serve as role models for other employees throughout the hospital.
Bernie Holbert, who works in the Intensive Care Unit, received the Licensed Vocational Nurse Special award. LVN’s support the work of nurses and demonstrate leadership in caring for patients.
Delicia Isreal, a certified scrub technician in the operating room, received the Patient Care Specialist Award. The award is designed to recognize those who demonstrate an exemplary level of patient care and communication.
Laura Lowery received the Unit Secretary Award. Lowery, who works in Women’s Services, helps in all aspects of the unit directing individuals and advocating for patients and their families.
“We are proud to honor these individuals who represent Texas Health Cleburne so well,” said Blake Kretz, hospital president. “We had a very talented pool of nominees for these awards. The real blessing is the care these individuals provide to the residents of Cleburne and the surrounding areas each day in our hospital.”
