Texas Health Fort Worth Names New Vice President of Finance

FORT WORTH, Texas — Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth has named Rick Humphrey as the hospital’s new vice president of finance. He has more than 13 years of health care experience and more than 12 years of military, accounting and internal audit experience prior to working in health care.

As vice president of finance for Texas Health Fort Worth, Humphrey will be responsible for the hospital’s finance, materials management and patient access services departments. He will also be responsible for leading Texas Health Fort Worth’s long-term and annual strategic, operating and financial planning activities.

Prior to joining the Texas Health Resources system, Humphrey served as vice president and chief financial officer at Kershaw Health System in Camden, S.C. He also held leadership roles at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, Baptist Health and University of Tennessee Medical Center, where he began his professional career.

Humphrey is a Certified Public Accountant and Six Sigma Greenbelt. He received his master’s degree in business management from Golden Gate University and his bachelor’s degree in business management from Carson Newman College.
