Texas Health Resources Hires Chief Strategy Officer|
ARLINGTON, Texas — Texas Health Resources has named health care industry expert Jonathan Scholl as executive vice president and chief strategy officer. Scholl joins Texas Health from his position as head of the North American Health Care Provider practice of The Boston Consulting Group.
“Texas Health Resources is growing to keep up with the ever-increasing population of North Texas,” said Doug Hawthorne, CEO of Texas Health. “Looking beyond the horizon and anticipating the future needs of our communities are vital and challenging tasks. Jon will provide us with leadership perspectives based on his extensive experience working with major health care systems across the country.”
Scholl will report to Hawthorne and assume his responsibilities as the head of Texas Health’s Strategic Planning and Business Development functions in late February.

Scholl has been a long-time resident of North Texas, traveling from his Dallas base to work with health systems and medical centers throughout the country. He has significant experience in strategy development, operations improvement, change management and physician practice planning.
A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Scholl also earned an MBA from Harvard Business School.
