Texas Health Cleburne Collects 29,000 Cans in Annual Food Drive|
CLEBURNE, Texas — Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Cleburne employees, volunteers and physicians on the medical staff recently collected more than 29,000 cans of food for two area charities.
Texas Health Cleburne CFO Jimmy Frosch helped lead the food drive.
Each summer, Texas Health Cleburne holds a food drive. This year the event benefited Operation Blessing and the Family Crisis Center of Cleburne.
“We are thrilled at the generosity Texas Health Cleburne showed in the annual food drive,” said Jimmy Frosch, chief financial officer at the hospital. Frosch lead the food drive along with Eddie Jones, director of support services.
Texas Health Cleburne employees raised money for the charities by holding barbecue, ice cream and bake sales as well as through payroll deductions.
Hospital President, Blake Kretz, FACHE, lead the food drive for Texas Health Resources overall. The system’s food drive collected more than 575,000 cans for charities in communities across North Texas.
“Texas Health Resources is committed to improving the health of the people in the communities we serve and supporting area charitable organizations is just another way that we do that each day,” Kretz said.
