Texas Health Resources Names Becky Tucker Administrator of Burleson Facility

BURLESON, Texas — Texas Health Resources, one of the largest health care systems in North Texas, announced that Becky Tucker has been named administrator of Texas Health Harris Methodist Outpatient Center Burleson. Texas Health Burleson is the new integrated health care campus that opened in April 2010. Tucker oversaw the development of the outpatient center and is currently working on the grand opening of the only stand-alone emergency department in the area.

Tucker was integral in the development of Texas Health Burleson, which offers a variety of outpatient services including advanced imaging, physical therapy, sports medicine, hand rehabilitation, laboratory services, cardiac rehabilitation, and a fitness center. In October of this year it will open a 24-hour-a-day emergency department.

Tucker also oversees the Executive Health Program at Texas Health Fort Worth as well as Texas Health Harris Methodist Physician Offices Saginaw, Keller, and Burleson.

Prior to joining Texas Health Fort Worth, Tucker worked in the medical staff affairs office of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano. She earned a bachelor's degree in kinesiology and minored in biological science at the University of Texas. She received master's degrees in health care administration and business administration at Texas Woman's University.

Tucker is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, a board member of the United Way of Tarrant County, vice-chair of United Way of Tarrant County Young Leaders Society, and board shadow for the Alzheimer’s Association of North Central Texas.
