Texas Health Azle Opens Health and Education Center|
AZLE, Texas — Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Azle is opening its new Health and Education Center, a facility that will allow the hospital to expand outpatient services and provide more education classes and support groups for residents in Northwest Tarrant and Parker Counties.
“Over the years, we have seen a tremendous need for more outpatient services and space to host education classes and support groups,” said Winjie Tang Miao, president of the hospital. “We are thrilled to expand our scope of services in this new facility and continue to invest in the Azle community.”
A 5,000 square-foot and $1.5 million expansion, Texas Health Azle plans to offer new and existing outpatient offerings and classes, including:
The project also includes 70 additional parking spaces to make the hospital more accessible to the community. The hospital’s auxiliary has also funded a new meditation garden for patients, families and employees.
“Texas Health Azle continues to expand our services, offering the Northwest Tarrant County community with many of the same procedures, technology and care you would receive at one of the larger hospitals in Fort Worth,” Miao added. “Our efforts have attracted new physicians and specialists, providing our area with health care options close to home.”
The Health and Education Center will be open to the public on from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sept. 14.
