Texas Health Stephenville Kicks Off Annual Giving Campaign with Contest|
STEPHENVILLE, Texas — The radiology department at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Stephenville recently won a door decorating contest to mark the kickoff to Texas Health Resources annual giving campaign.
During the first two weeks of October, Texas Health Stephenville employees pledged donations to the Erath County United Way, the Susan G. Komen Foundation, American Cancer Society, March of Dimes, and American Heart Association.
Given that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the radiology department chose to represent the Susan G. Komen Foundation with their decorations. They were selected as winners of the contest by representatives of the Stephenville Fire Department.
“We are pleased to show our support for other nonprofits, such as Erath County United Way, whose work benefits individuals in Stephenville and the surrounding communities,” said Christopher Leu, hospital president. “Our employees have always been very generous in giving back to the community with their time and money supporting worthwhile community-based programs.”
