Our Mission Texas Health Springwood Center Southlake is committed to helping people in our community by providing intensive outpatient services for adults and adolescents with behavioral issues. To accommodate busy schedules, our programs are held during the day and in the evening, with some programs offering weekend components. Patients can be referred by a physician, therapist, EAP counselor, or through self-referral.
Adult Psychiatric Intensive Outpatient Program Patients who require more intensive treatment than individual therapy, but do not require inpatient services, will find this program helpful. The counselors work with the patient, the patient's family members and the patient's referral source, such as physician and/or therapist, to achieve individualized treatment goals.
Adult Addiction Treatment Intensive Outpatient Program Benefiting those patients who do not require inpatient medical detoxification, this comprehensive program includes work with patients, families and referring physicians and therapists. Adult addiction treatment requires a commitment of approximately three hours a day and can be scheduled around work or school.
Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program This after-school program is designed to balance treatment requirements with the patient's educational needs. Providing a safe, structured environment conducive to improving or regaining coping skills needed to meet the demands of family, school and society.
Adult Eating Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program Medically stable adults who need to maintain or gain body weight and interrupt persistent eating disorder behaviors should benefit from this program. The Adult Eating Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program requires medical clearance from the patient's primary care physician, as well as an appointment with a nutritionist.
