Taking a Stand for Well-Being
"As a Texas Health Resources employee in the strategy and planning department, I know how important well-being is to our employees and the communities we serve," said Emily Allen, MHA, senior strategic analyst.
"My boss, Aaron Bujnowski, senior vice president for strategy and planning, offered our team the opportunity to receive standing desks. I chose a standing desk because I felt that it would allow me to work on my personal fitness goals while in the office through improved circulation and less continuous sitting.
"I have noticed I have more energy, naturally have better posture, and feel more alert mentally and physically."
