Asha Hussein is a licensed professional counselor with extensive experience in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). Whether someone is
navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, or challenges with self-esteem, Asha is committed to providing a safe, non-judgmental space to explore, process, and grow. She tailors therapy to meet each client’s unique wellness needs and goals.
Asha earned her bachelor’s degree in philosophy while attending Houston Christian University. She graduated with her master’s degree in counseling from Prairie View A&M, also in Texas. Asha integrates evidence-based therapy techniques with a warm and compassionate presence, encouraging clients to build on their strengths while developing new coping skills. Through CBT, she supports clients in learning to identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns; with DBT, she helps clients gain tools for regulating emotions, improving relationships, and tolerating distress. Above all, she is passionate about facilitating therapy not only for healing, but as a space to rediscover hope, build confidence, and create lasting change.
